"Noon" Years Eve 2020

It's the start of a new decade! While there are plenty of fun events counting down until midnight on December 31st here are some events you can visit during the day (or early evening) for "Noon Year's Eve" that are family-friendly.





Tarrant County Events:


Fort Worth Science & History Museum: 10:30 AM-12:30 PM

Cost: Normal Admission (members get in early)

Cost: FREE! "Ring in 2020 during this special story time for preschoolers! Celebrate the coming New Year at noon so your little ones (and you!) don't have to stay up until midnight. Activities may include countdown, crafts, and games! This program is free, open to the public, and requires no registration"


Roanoke Public Library: 11:00 AM-12:00 PM

Cost: FREE! "Have a "roarin'" good time as we ring in a new decade at the Roanoke Public Library! We'll have games and treats for all ages as we countdown to noon for all of you who would like to celebrate early! No RSVP is necessary. Just bring your holiday spirit and we'll take care of the rest!"


Burleson Public Library: 11:00 AM-12:30 PM

Cost: FREE! "Don't feel like staying up till midnight to ring in the new year? Join us for our Noon Year's Eve Party! We will make crafts, eat snacks, and countdown till noon! It is the perfect way for families with young kids to celebrate. We hope you can join us for this fun event!"


Haltom City Public Library: 11:00 AM-12:30 PM

Cost: FREE! "Have little ones that won't quite make it till midnight to celebrate the New Year? This party is perfect for you and your family! Instead of counting down till midnight, we'll countdown till noon! We will have crafts, light snacks, party blowers and a super cool countdown! This program is great for all ages!"


Bedford Public Library: 11:00 AM-12:15 PM

Cost: FREE! "Celebrate New Year's Eve a little early at our Noon Year's Party! Kids, join us for a celebration with music, crafts, and a count down to noon. Light refreshments will be served. Registration is not required."

Cost: FREE "Ring in the Noon year with your preschoolers. Festivities geared towards kids ages 0-5, but all family members are welcome. Children ages nine (9) and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Wristbands are required, free and available at 10:00am in the lobby on the day of the program. Space is limited due to fire code.
