This venue is, in essence, another adorable kids village. What makes playstreet different than some others we've visited is they have multiple DFW locations in the same chain.
Locations include:
McKinney
Frisco
Plano
Allen
Las Colinas
Dallas
Flower Mound
Keller
Fort Worth
Two new locations are coming soon in Prosper and Murphy. Each location has it's own theme which means if you've visited one location you've only seen that theme's attractions! We visited the Keller Location who's theme is "Design & Build".
Here are the 9 DFW themes currently open. For information on other locations visit their site here.
The following information is specific to the Keller "Design & Build" location though most generic information should be similar at all locations.
Keller's "Design & Build" was all about creating! There are seven main sections. Playhouse: includes a play kitchen, pantry, table, dolls and clothes to dress the dolls
Building Area: includes a sink that shows you how water flows through pipes, electricity demonstration light switches, building material blocks, construction tools & dress ups
Hardware Store: includes a cash register and building supplies
Interior Design Studio: includes fabric swatches, colorful blocks, several dollhouses, and vividly colored puzzles
Builder Room: includes walls of wood blocks, wood cars, and other wooden toys. (unfortunately no photo) Construction Zone: includes a "sandbox" full of shredded tire material and digger toys with a large yellow truck
Other areas include a giant green rug to ride and push toys along, an amazing air pipe system you can fill with balls and scarves to watch them fly, puzzles, coloring stations, blocks and a play mat zone.
